My first half hour of the day - poem!

Jen's started something here with her poems, so here's my offering for the first half hour of my day


Up with the lark Cassie's licking my face,
Dave in his undies getting right in my space,
Mum's getting up with her leg in blue plaster,
Must get there quick or there'll be another disaster.

Put on the kettle, fall over the dog,
Dave's faffing around to get off to his job,
Rush into Mum with a nice hot strong brew,
then back to the kitchen coz Dave's in the loo!

Out go the dogs in their hyper high state,
This so annoys Dave, he blames them if he's late,
On his way out, he puts Cass in the Car,
Coz she sends my blood pressure up by too far,
Georgie's quite happy to stay in his bed,
There too much activity, he'd much rather be fed!

I settle poor Mum in the new kitchen chair,
See she's comfy and warm, with her leg in the air,
.
She'll be fine for a while as I walk the two muts,
and if Cassie don't shut up I think I'll go nuts!
Off out to the car where Cassie's been put,
I then open the door so Cassie jumps out,
Georgie jumps in, she follows and shouts,
Poor Georgie he then has to suffer the din,
As she grumbles and sings and bashes him in.
He tries to be macho and answer her back,
But she's not having that, she's the boss and all that!

oh dear, poor Helen!

Great job Helen, but made me feel knackered just reading it.

Not as knackered as me doing it Jackie!! I will write phase 2 tomorrow when I've got the energy! I can only do half hour at a time though coz my day is soooooo full up!
