mastiff/bullmastiff....whats the difference?

i cant see any difference between them except height.

H has a 'mastiff' friend who's fab and i didnt want to sound rude to his owner by asking as i dont know her that well.

please i need help

mastiffs are generally bigger as far as i know.
in height and weight......julie are you thinking 2nd dog?

um, yeah but not a mastiff, as lovely as they are, too slobbery for my squimish lot.

still cant convince OH to get another leo, soooooo maybe a small scruffy mutt, but needs to be a pup.
i keep looking, nothing yet, but he'll be there when he's ready to come home.

Mastiffs & Bullmastiffs aren't as slobbery as people think!
Now, DDB's are another matter! lol

I agree too!! Our boxer is far more slobbery than out bullmastiff - she doesn't slobber at all. The only mess she makes though is when drinking - half the bowl of water will end up on the floor!!
