Boy killed in our village

Hi all,
It was on the news last night a young lad of 11 years was on his way to my son's school and was hit by a car in our village.
It's so sad

Hi, I am so very sorry to hear this. Sadly it seems to be an ever more frequent event. It's only a few weeks since our friends son (aged 23) was ran over and killed on his way home. So very sad

We don't know who he was,as yet the police haven't released any information. It must have been a really nasty accident though, the road was closed for 4 hours.I hope the school will support the pupils that knew him.
I really feel so sorry for the boys family

That is terrible news I don't know how families cope with losing children, it must be your very worst nightmare Cars just go too fast these days - everyone is in a hurry Its a wonder there isn't a child gets killed at the junior school near me - there are two schools on the same stretch of road and in the morning all the cars are whizzing about with only thoughts for themselves - its getting harder and harder to cross the road because you have to look in three directions at once and the drivers couldn't give a toss about the pedestrians - their only aim is to drop their child off and get to work.
