Holiday pictures chapter one........

I'll try not to bore you all totally senseless..... ... by doing this in small bite-sized chunks, to prevent any thoughts of ending it all that you may have........ here goes:

We took a buggy ride around Central Park - the driver was Irish..... . The ride was very good, and I wanted to bring the mare (Lady) home with me. Baz said "no" - the man has no sense of adventure.......











Here's a couple of the New York Public Library - it's a beautiful building.....





This is General's Island. It was occupied by the military for many years, but they moved out some years ago, and now the entire island is empty, apart from maintenance staff. The powers that be can't decide what to do with it and keep arguing about it. Considering the space shortage in NYC it's quite amazing that something that could house hundreds and hundreds of people is just left empty.

Great pics really enjoyed them looking forward to part two. Odd thing is we are considering of a holiday there so this may get us in the right mood for it as maybe think its a bit long in the plane, was the journey ok? I have spinal problems and dr says it will be ok to go away so l0ng as i can take regular walks up and down plane, thats ok so long as no turbulance!!
