Dog stabbed to death in garden in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

Just heard this on the Key103 Manchester radio station news this morning. It didn't give any details about the dog but was warning owners to be extra vigilant when their dogs are in the garden. What on earth is this country coming to when a dog can't even be in its own garden without being killed by some sicko.

THAT IS SO SO SAD....A FEW WEEKS AGO WE WERE WALKING TESS IN THE NEARBY WOODS. SHE RAN ROUND THE CORNER ON TO THE BRIDGE AND WE WERE TRAILING BEHIND.THERE WAS A GANG OF LADS AND ONE SHOUTED "GRAB THAT DOG BY IT'S NECK AND THROW IT IN RIVER!"
WE RACED ROUND THE CORNER AND WHEN THEY SAW MY HUBBY THEY SCARPERED!

try this. I know we shouldn't judge but this poor rottweiler's owner had left it out in the garden all night while she was out on the lash and she didn't come home til the morning...
