yes ice cubes are great for cooling down dogs. I sometimes fill a small tub (around 3 inches X 3 inches) with water and put some of their biscuit in in and then freeze it. they love it.

Me too - I shall put something in the freezer now.
I have been giving Sydney ice cubes this morning - she loves them, throws them around a bit, trying to kill them and then eats them. She considers them a real treat!!

I get 2 ice cream tubs and freeze the water until it goes "slushy" give it a good mix and then open and drain a tin of Tuna.. then half it between the tubs and mix it around then freeze it solid.. one its frozen take it out the tub and smash it with a hammer and you can give them a lump at a time..Seiko LOVES this

We have puppy-sized ice lollies in the freezer as I type. They're a very sophisticated layered affair of chicken, cheese and carrot cubes with water and yoghurt to stick 'em together, frozen in egg cups.
