Vet prices

I took Vegas to vet earlier for his annual booster/MOT and 3 months supply of 'Stronghold' and his bill came to £58

Im sure i didnt pay anything quite like that last year so am curious to what others pay their vets for booster etc.I havent a clue how much the Stronghold is by itself so cant work out cost of booster!

For the record-Vegas is 40.2kgs so he got away with the 20-40kgs Stronghold if that makes any difference on price.

That sounds about right Carole-im sure i paid about £30 last year for normal booster and i cant see Stronghold being £28!!!

Methinks i better ring them tommorrow and ask why so much...

My vet charges £26 for boosters and £21 for Frontline, think its about the same price for Stronghold.

Well Stronghold is £19.95 for Benjis size which is the 10-20kg so I would imagine that it is about £25 for Vegas to be honest and boosters would be about £30 I reckon going off what they charge for puppy injections so I don't reckon its a bad price really Steve (sorry ) I think Stronghold is probably more expensive than Frontline.

Blimey-it just appeared expensive to me Foxy!

I've always bought Stronghold, but normally just pop in there when in town and not when getting him boostered. Its probably cause the booster is a once a year jobbie i forget how much it costs!!!

Do you not get a fully itemised recipt? My vets always give one of these as standard practice so I can see for myself exactly what everything cost.
