Whilst your on the subject of computers!

I've just read the other topic and wondered if any of you could help me solve a computer problem?

I have 2 digital camera's the older one works fine and uploadings no problem. The new camera was working for about 3 months then all of a sudden when I try putting photo's on the computer it tells me the camera's not conected. I borrowed a new lead off someone thinking it was a loose wire and still the same happens. The lead for the old camera is different to the new one.

I also took the new camera back to the shop and they checked it all and it was working ok so the problem must be something to do with my computer.

Would be grateful of any advice as I'm ready for throwing the camera through the window

Anne.

Try uninstalling the software for the new camera and reinstalling it.

I had a similar problem and when I reinstalled it it worked fine

Anne - get the latest drivers for your camera and try that.

Candie - sounds like you have changed the settings on the actual camera, get the handbook out and look for anything in regards to 'million pixels' etc

eRaze you must have been reading my mind, it sounds like you need to update your drivers............what camera do you have? post on here and I'll look for you!

Just another thought, probably a stupid one at that, but you haven't got both cameras plugged in at the same time have you?
