The Moor's Murders

Did anyone watch it?
What did you think of it?

Must have been a very hard thing to film, must have been painful for the families of the poor children and for the family of those two evil monsters to watch.

I thought it was very well done, made compelling but difficult viewing.

Yeah i watched it
i'm glad the children weren't portrayed in the film
and that the murders themselves weren't portrayed either
I think it was handled well and wasn't as controversial as we were led to believe
i would have liked to have seen it in more of Docu-Drama type way though like the BBC have done recently on other subjects
i had a hard time taking Maxine Peake serious in the hindley role after years of watching her as Twinkle in Dinnerladies though

It was made with the familes of the victims being fully involved which is why it didn't show the victims or murders(except part of the last one)

I thought it was a really good program, showing Hindley & Brady as the truly evil people they were/are-cold blooded & calculated

I have been in the morgue that the bodies were stored in Uppermill - its only about 2 miles from my house. My o/h's brew room was next door and he has the keys to the old morgue.
