Eurovision Song Contest

Who is a fan of the Eurovision song contest? Its on this Saturday.

I have watched it since I was a small nipper, I get the popcorn out, lots of sweets and chocolate and drinks and just enjoy the evening, oh and paper to vote with .

I do not really enjoy it as much as I used to as the music is not as good from some countries and the cheating that goes on is silly but its a laugh.

I think our song this year is awful no music to it its getting a nil point from me, not very patriotic am I.

Anyway to all those who enjoy it have fun this Saturday night.

I absolutely detest it - our entry this year is as bad as ever, although saying that we could enter Take That or somebody at the top of the charts and we still wouldn't have a cat in hells chance of winning - it's a joke how they give those points out Needless to say - I won't be watching

My OH refuses to watch it, so I don't listen to the songs. I go in the bedroom with my own telly and just watch the voting. Terry has me in fits of laughter. It has to be the best entertainment on the box. I haven't even heard our entry for this year , but if it is as bad as you all say then maybe we have a chance

Yes Terry is good and his comments are hilarious - our song is absolutely awful though, its a lad from Stockport in Manchester and its sort of a rap song I think (might be wrong though - only heard it a few times) and all these silly women dressed as school girls (bet the men enjoy that bit - thats why Stewart is watching it, not for Terry like he would like us to believe ) behind desks.

Noo i'm not watching though i sometimes watch the scoring at the end
but since there will be totty i migh reconsider
