Aren't they funny?! Scared of a brick!

Just been into the garage.

Something spooked Bodhi and she was wooo-woooo-wooooing all round the garage, hackles up.

I'm not sure if it was the ivy peeking in or what, but she thought it was a monster what ever it was!

Then she clocked a bin (of the black outdoor variety) and a garden bag full of stuff which had been swept up off the drive...

Doesn't get much scarier than that does it?! She was approaching it VERY carefully, barking at it just in case it tried to make a move on her.

I took a bit of broken brick/tile out of it to show her it was harmless and she was even worried about that! Put it on the floor for her to sniff, and she approached it like you would a poisonous snake!!!

Daft dog. Got herself over excited I think

I am a complete MUPPET.

Only just NOW remember WHY I went in the garage in the first place.

DUH! Never did actually remember to get what I was looking for.

My memory is great

You've got to wonder what goes on inside their heads! I had Sparky out in the boat last time home and he had his head over the side barking at the bow wave for almost an hour until he went hoarse. Only then did he stop. A real seadog. Not. Good replacement for the foghorn tho'.

My dog's like that with balloons. She's never had a bad experience with one (and I've had her since she was 6 weeks old) but she cowers if you bring one near her and dashes for the door if she can. Other things which scare her are the hoover, the hosepipe (although I may be partially to blame for that one...) and and old tickle-me-elmo toy I used to have. Also if you ruffle the pages of a book near her she runs off terrified.

I love it when dogs freak out, it's so funny.

Woody tends to freak out on his walk if anythings moved etc.

Pickles isn't mentally fast enough to freak out!

I've just remembered another story. My brother had Meg in his car once and he went through one of those automated car washes (with the big rollers that look like monsters' legs!). She had been sat in the back but as soon as the rollers started she leapt into his lap and cowered there until it was all over. She never normally sits on laps so she must have been truly terrified that time! Poor baby. I wish I'd seen it though!
