Gibbs (Oldies Club, Staffordshire)
Gibbs is 13 going on 3! This girl has a big character and a big heart and is currently being fostered for the Oldies Club in Cannock, Staffordshire.
Gibbs can be quite chatty and she will happily talk to you. She is an active little dog; always up to something and if she is not sitting on your lap she can be found rummaging in cupboards or wardrobes!
She has fitted in well with the fosterers own dogs and is now learning that she has to share toys. She loves balls and squeakies and adores water - she will splash around in a bucket all day given the chance. Gibbs does like her own space though so a quieter doggy companion that’s not going to bounce on her, or a home as an only dog, would be best.
Gibbs is fine to be left on her own for a few hours and travels well in the car. She does need work on house training, but she has improved and is clean about 80% of the time.
She is good on the lead; she pulls a little but not strongly. She has not been let off the lead as yet as, although her foster carer feels she would stay close, she does have selective hearing at times! Gibbs has also met horses and was not fazed by them at all.
Healthwise, Gibbs has a heart murmur and is taking Fortekor 5 for this.
