Fence panels

Which side do you put where? OH and I have disagreed on this, he says what I call the ugly side goes facing inwards so on view to us, whilst the nicer side is viewed by neighbours, he says it is to do with the way the wind blows and the slates on the fence...............is he having a laugh?

Nice

Ugly

Hi Sweep,

The "ugly" side faces inwards towards your house, the "nice" smooth side faces towards the neighbours.

That is fact, because when there is disputes, that is how the authorities can tell whose fence is whose.

I'm afraid ugly side inwards, right hand side of our garden goes into woodland, if the ugly side was on the outside, it could easily be climbed using the supports.

Nope i paid for it, i'm having the best view.it's my side of the boundary as they wouldn't replace the decrepid one that was there so we did all the way round and we have the best side on view all the way round.
