Birthday Cake?

Would you think £80 for a Football Shirt Birthday cake is about the right price or a bit expensive? Should have said Sponge cake.

It sounds a bit expensive to me Sweep. Is it a fruit one or a sponge cake? We had one for Rhiannas birthday made at Hampsons that used to be Burneys and it was beautiful and was only £36 and quite big and it tasted lovely too.

I think it would depend on the size and maybe how much detail was put into it and most of all the taste, i remember getting a birthday cake one year for Natasha my daughter at £50 and it tasted awful. I take it its for a special birthday.

Ooh it looks quite a big one that Sweep so maybe the price is right. Perhaps if you shop around a bit you might get a better price. Do you have an Hampsons near you?
