Bathing the dog

Well I decided to bath the dogs, it was a nice day not cold at all and I got the water in the buckets they get bathed outside (no problem then wet dog dashing around) then I towel dry them and in they do.
Anyhow I bathed Tess (she is much much better now and I was stands as still as Sal while I bath her)

Normaly I lift their chins up so water does not roll into their eyes.

Then did Sal no problem but do you know as I was pouring the water on I said "head up Sal" and she lifted her head up and back on her own and all through the bath she did it every time I asked her too. Good girl.

Oh they don't need to be held or even have a collar on they just stand still while I bath them.

Wow, what good dogs! I have enough trouble getting Brandie to stand still while I wash just her feet It must make it so much easier for you.
Well done!

Yes they are good. I may not always realise it, but they are good girls.

I wish Otis was that good!!!

He gets in starts drinking the water, when he feels like he has had enough to drink he jumps out!!! Little monkey!!!

Its quite funny really if you could see me. I wear a rainproof micky mouse poncho i got from Disney World so i don't get too wet - the neighbours have a field day laughing at me!!!

I don;t stand them in anything they just stand on the slabs by the drain. Maybe thats why they hate going "into" a bath. They must feel safer feet on the floor.
