Gas Strike?

Has anybody else heard that the gas people are going on strike next Monday (and maybe the electric too) and that there will be no gas or electric because a few people have told me this - also on the 19th December too.

Is it not just the people that repair faults that are going on strike

My mum depends on Oxygen 24 hrs a day so if the electric strikes she will probably die

My o/hs aunty is 92 years old and the water people cut through an electric cable in his village the other day and they were without electric for 24 hrs and I think longer. When her niece phoned to complain they said they didn't realise and would send a flask of hot water round

Haven't heard about any strikes but I've heard that there might be restrictions on gas and electric. Fuel companies are planning on cutting gas (and maybe electric) for a few hours a day.

They're also thinking about a three day week too
