Racehorse "Best Mate" dies.
I have just watched a most dreadful turn of events. In light of "Makybe Diva's" fantastic 3rd win in the Melbourne cup, our own hero 3 times winner of the Cheltenham Gold cup "Best Mate" has died. he seemed to suffer a heart attack having been pulled up. A very very sad day for brithish national hunt racing.Dawn.
