Our tradition is the boys and the Grandchildren getting together Boxing day.
It came about when Mark and Donna split and she wouldn't let Mark have Joel Christmas day, so we started the tradition of Boxing day being our Christmas day.
Now Joel is with Mark and Lauren mostly on Christmas day but Lauren sees her mum on Christmas day.

We used to when we got married take it in turns whose parents we saw.

That's about the only tradition we have.

Our traditions have changed with the loss of my mam and the grandkids growing up

These days we have simple traditions. We watch I'm a Celeb. When that finishes, we watch the Harry Potter films and when they finish a couple of naff Christmas films and, of course, Christmas Eve it's the original Scrooge

Christmas day is pretty quiet these days. There used to be 11 or 12 of us around my table and an afternoon of games. Now it's just me, Dave and Gary so very quiet.

I really miss having kids around on Christmas day and seeing little faces light up at what Father Christmas has brought them
