Friggatriskaidekaphobia (aka Friday 13th May)

Good morning everyone

Thought I would confuse everyone with the title

Sunny here this morning and not cold. Washing done and out, Teazle walked and housework done. Taking Barry for his 4th booster this morning and whilst he is having that I will pop into the shops.

Hope all are well. Take care.

Very good Sue. I have been up awhile as was awake when the sun came up at around 5am but I did sleep well for a change. So because of that I have done the washing and some dusting and walked. Finished another silly book and have now found another to start later. Been looking at my utility costs for the last few months and they haven't changed much and am still in credit. Had a nice surprise yesterday as the energy refund had gone into my bank. Hope everyone has a good day. Sun is not really trying hard enough here today.

I have a little more time now, Kota had her eyes checked last year and there were concerns about her reactions being sluggish...I was supposed to take her back after 3 months but, well.....everytime I have been ready to take her unsedated her back and neck have been bad or I have been. Well, I bit the bullet, decided now I would do it, gave my vet the heads up she would be coming unsedated lol....he told the reception staff that if I couldn't manage on my own I could go another day or pick up sedatives, I explained that she's to be unsedated to check her eyes soooooo, they brought the appointment forward for me. She went on the bus, saw the ducks and waited nicely outside the vets, we went through a waiting room of dogs kicking off at her and couldn't care less lol.
She got her eyes checked and she's being sent to a specialist as they think she may have sight loss.....she doesn't display any signs of it at all, anyway.. it's done, the specialist rang me and I will be taking her to Wolverhampton, if she's to have surgery...we have to go to leominster. She had hair cut off so that she could have a lump biopsied, 2 needle biopsies done with no problems!! Conor said she's a cracking dog, really improved and he said she has never been the worst dog he has dealt with....was really good of him to say, he said she was really well trained. Bill for £250 but just need to hope the biopsies are clear and that she's not going blind or needing surgery.
Dropped my claim form off this afternoon and a bottle of wine for Conor for being so awesome with her, complete difference from the crap staff at the willows

Good evening all

Glad things went well at the vets and have everything crossed that the tests she needs come back looking good.

Nice day here too so our usual same old same old.

Our electric bills have gone through the roof. All electric is going to be a big pain come winter

Nowt like a good book - I love to read

I like your style, Sue. Dave has a blood test Monday morning, but I'll be staying in bed an extra half hour as it's an early one.

My daughter seems to have hit on a reasonably decent doctor now she has his attention. Diagnosis is fibromyalgia and chronic arthritis. He's sent her to pain management, counselling and now a referral for health management. She's on heaven knows how many tablets and has had to give up work permanently. She's only 47 bless her and shouldn't be dealing with so much pain at her age
