Daily chit chat Monday 4th February 2019

Morning sleepy heads. It's raining. Makes a change. Dark to. Just shows what a bit of early sunshine can make to the lighter mornings that were coming. Never mind. Have a good day all.

Good morning all

In one word it is WET. A certain little girlie rushed out did what was necessary and back in. Had her breakfast and is now tucked up on the sofa,

Hope all two and four legged are well

Have a good day and stay safe

Good evening Brenda, Lynn, Griff, Sue, Moyra, Chris

Nice to see you all posting, I have been AWOL down to Mrs. Losos still not as active as she would like. Can take six weeks for some, and looks like she will be one. So have been occupied.

We had a bit of snow but really nothing worth mentioning and nowhere near what the West country has had.

Need to visit the vet for some new prescriptions for Casey. They will only issue one repeat prescription unseen, then the next one they want to see him.

Casey's physio lady will be here on Thursday to work on his legs. As I may have mentioned before, I can't be sure if it's helping but I can definately tell you that he loves it. He even almost falls asleep and when she wants him to roll over he does so immediately

Sadly that may be Claire's last visit since he is very wobbly on his legs now and can only go about 20 metres before he needs to lie down for 5 minutes.

From time to time he hyper ventilates, and his breathing is still rough even 'tho the vet has upped his Frusicare to 120mg. twice a day it still seems that the fluids around his windpipe are constricting the pipe and causing difficult breathing.

And as you may know he has a heart condition and his pulse is very irregular. He takes tablets for both conditions, I'll ask the vet to check his pulse when we go in this week.

We now know he was born in 2007 but still don't know the day or the month. If we say it was December he is now 11 years and 2 months which is older than any of our other Newfies.

I'll try to post on Thursday after the vet visit.

Oh Harvey, what a heavy burden you are carrying just now.

Your wife will get better. It does take time, but when that time is over, she will really benefit from having had the op.

I've got everything crossed for Casey too. Bless him, he's fought so hard and I hope he can do so for a while longer yet

Best wishes to all of you x
