Dogs dying after visiting Brooklands Lake Dartford

Foul play has been ruled out after three dogs died and another seven became ill after drinking water from a lake in Kent.

A spokesman for Kent Police said there was nothing to suggest that "foul play or anything sinister" had taken place at Brooklands Lake, Dartford.

That's terrible! I wouldn't be surprised if the results came back with high toxicity due to polluted waters.

I doubt that it is the lake, because the amount of pollutant needed to kill a dog diluted in a lake would also have killed all of the fish and birds in the area. Something else is thus going on here.

If it were an algae it would take a concentration that would be visible to the naked eye, so I doubt that.
