Making a recovery food

Toffee (11 1/2) is having a minor op tomorrow to remove
a spindle tumour from her leg. I am cooking her some
white fish and rice & a bit of veg for tonight and for
when she comes home, while she recovers. I have a few
herbs in the garden, I wondered if it would be good to
put a little into the food. Does anyone know what is
good or not so good for a dog with quite a sensitive
tummy. Also is there any veg that I should avoid at this
time?

I found a bit of info about dogs and herbs, & I put a little
basil, mint & parsley in her special dinner.

You could always buy some arnica tablets to be taken orally. Helps with any bruising. Good Luck to you and her.
