Diesel - DOB 2012, Male, Staffie x
Diesel Staffie x EBT DOB 2012 Guildford Kenns
Diesel needs a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle. Diesel needs a Bull breed experienced family to manage his excitement levels and know and believe in him as he can play with clothing but easy to address and avoid. Easy to walk and given confidence enjoys meeting of majority dogs, but his confidence needs to be built. Diesel would enjoy a secure garden and exit management to offer him play and safety NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.
Known background: Diesel was found stray/abandoned in May 13 and unclaimed within a council pound. We stepped forwards to offer a Rescue place. Diesel is neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Currently in boarding kennels in Guildford.
About Diesel: Diesel has a lot of fuel in his energy but once he is one his journey he settles into the walk, ahead but not desperately pulling. He mixes with dogs well when handled by a confidence walker. Often forms friendships during his walks and rarely gets flustered. Gets excited with visitors, very friendly and rarely but he can grab clothing in his excitement and given the item of clothing he loses interest: As with all terriers best to control their hype not to whip it up. Diesel loves people very loving and respectful of his home environment.
Diesel is a medium sized English Bull Terrier x Staffie with an orange brindle coat and striking prick ears which make him look alert. Kind words or a treat offered and his ears are back in receptive mode. Diesel has coped well in kennel but his energy is a little frustrated and he needs a foster or permanent home before he reaches the 2 year mark. Such a great boy he doesn't deserve to be overlooked.
