Morning everyone. Looks like its promising to be a nice sunny day as promised and all week lots of high pressure about time too. Sorry all our friends in Scotland not sure you are due so much of the nice weather.
So I have Gordens white shirts waiting to go on the line and Dillon's bed cover and floor covers in the wash.
Had the best nights sleep last night since moving here even with this wretched cough and cold. Couple of glasses of wine and cough mixture.

I hope everyone is well and doglets and don't work too hard and especially you Helena I know you are doing the second van today.
Bev have a safe journey and a lovely break away at Charly's.

Glad you got such a good night's sleep, mine was interrupted with heavy bouts of snoring emanating from the back of the house, followed by Zena's tip toe'ing about and flopping back down again on the kitchen floor. I sleep so well when Dave's not here.

Yes, up to the van again this morning, but not much to do up there today. My back was killing me last night, high up on one side, but that was due to me having to lift up a really heavy mattress no less than 5 times to put all the undercovers on it (I spoil my guests lol), such a tight space, and I had to twist as I lifted, not good, now I'm suffering for it. Also done something to my left leg shin, that hurts when I walk, but gawd knows what I did there, can't remember.

Dave opened his mail and lo and behold we can't believe it, but he's got a scan booked for next Tuesday, just one week after his appointment with that specialist. That's due to the c*ck up with him that night though and my subsequent e-mails isn't it. He said he can't go cos he's too busy at work, but I have 2 days to change his mind for him.

Had some fresh pineapple last night, now I'm rushing to the loo this morning - too much information I know, but I just thought I'd tell ya I know I shouldn't eat the stuff cos it always makes me like that, but I wanted something sweet and didn't want to eat choklit (for some strange reason Oh yes, the diet that was!! )

Jen, give me a prod later if I've forgotten, but I'm sure I will remember about the jewellery for you and get some pics.

Anyway, hope everyone is well today, along with the doglets, and this week-end they say we're going to be hotter than the Med, something to look forward to at last.

Good news about the scan for Dave he does need convincing to go if you can convince him. It might take ages to get another one. Plus if it is due to problems with his neck there might be some medication out there to help.
The pineapple is giving you a fast track diet. Hope that clears soon.

I'm up nice and early due to first aid course part 2.
I've just read through last nights thread and it made me giggle
Lauryn is going to take Rosie out later cos don't think Tony is any better, he's still asleep so leaving him. I am very pleased to say that he's finally agreed to see a dentist, so going to ring and make him an appointment. Think it will prob have to be the private one but looked in and found out about denplan which will make the payment easier
He's got a major fear of dentist due to childhood trauma so the fact he's going is amazing.

It is quite dull here at the moment but at least there is no rain forecast I have Polly coming over this morning at 9.30 to walk the dogs with me. The boys seems absolutely fine this morning so I can only assume that Flash must have inadvertently hurt Rucksack when they were racing around yesterday afternoon and made it quite clear he didn't Flash anywhere near him.

Well had I had a pressure washer I'd be doing that today ... I'll probably go and do some pruning instead.

My heart almost stopped when I heard on the radio that "search and rescue are looking for a Boeing 777 that had disappeared off the radar" ...... my son is in the air flying back from Bangkok as I type, then of course I felt guilty for being so thankful it wasn't my son's flight. Thinking of those families waiting for news is just so awful

Lynn Doesn't a good night sleep make all the difference and I think the cocktail you had last night will certainly have helped Enjoy your weekend with Gorden home and I hope you are feeling well enough to go and have a coffee and a nice piece of cake somewhere.
Helena Ditto to sleeping better when alone Sorry about your back .... that pain will be a warning so for goodness sake don't lift anything heavy today, especially when you are in an odd position. I can't believe the 'season' has come round again so quickly I cannot believe that Dave is even contemplating not going for his scan You'll have to work your magic on him somehow.
Mandy I hope the first aid course goes well. I had a real laugh when I did one recently .... although laughing probably isn't what is expected by the tutor Many years ago a neighbour of ours was rushed in to hospital late one night due to having developed septicaemia as a direct result of ignoring a tooth abscess. It could have been a very different story if he hadn't eventually gone to hospital so I really hope you OH does pluck up the courage to go. I can't believe any of us like going to the dentist. I for one get the cold sweats just thinking about it ..... but it is NEVER as bad once I'm there. If he's honest and tells them he is terrified they will be very caring.
Norma I hope some nice event squeezes its way in to your agenda of WW and W today ..... mind you the waling bit should be nice

I'm off to cadets this morning. Brian is a lot better so it's safe to leave him. Couple of my guys are taking part in a shooting competition today. So about to head off.

Tonight I really need to get going on studying, I've been ignoring it for the last week, just haven't got time to do it. I've spoken to the OU and I'm waivering about deferring it to give me some time out. It would mean I would have to start again but it might be easier going and would give me time to chill, on the other side of it I want it done! I want it out of the way and as such they are seeing if I can submit the last TMA (the one I only did 300 words of a 2000 word assignment).

I dunno what to do just now. Thinking madly.
