I think we all miss summer...

Thanks. Add in the fact that it's unseasonably and extremely cold here. We REALLY miss summer. I live in the southern US and am not used to temps far below freezing already. Sometimes we don't get these temps for the entire winter, much less in November....

Nigredo was being a ******* as you can see, splashing her, but Jade put her feet in the water!!

She HATES water and will usually not go near it... so this was awesome

Does it ever snow where you are?
Snow almost makes winter my favourite time of year

VERY RARELY do we get snow. We did get a nasty ice storm two years back. It was hardly snow. It was pretty much an ugly sleet that froze over.

My poor uncle Billy, slipped on it and suffered a fatal head injury. He was 71 (great uncle). We are not used to ice, everyone was falling down and crashing their cars.

It's why I hate winter. There is nothing fun, just crappy weather. Jade also does worse in the cold weather. Her joints sometimes "ice over" and she turns all nasty and mean.

Oh, yeah. Jade WILL NOT and DID NOT go into the water, even when I braved the mud to get her close enough.. but that was the first time I've even seen her put her feet into water. She is nearly 11 and we've had her since she was 4 weeks old, so that's something!
