My Fred (french bulldog) appears to have a black sort of lump on one of his testicles, its not a hard lump but i think it hurts as he winced when i touched it
I will call vet on Monday morning and wil try and get a photo

I am sorry to hear about your dog's lump. You are definitely doing the right thing to get him checked out at the vets though. I have no experience with lumps on testicles but I have just searched it and dark lumps are more common when there is an descended testicle ... has both of his testicles come down?

Fingers crossed, good luck and keep us informed as to how he gets on.

Definitely make an appointment for your vet to look at.

My Fred went to vet today after i found a black lump/growth thingy on one testicle.
All is well, he must have caught his nuts on something in the woods and he has been bitten by 'auots' as they are called here (harvest mites i think)
thanks to all for advice

I am very pleased to hear that Fred's "nut" has nothing seriously wrong with it!
