My Kiing Charles Cavalier might have syringomyelia

Hiya, my 6 year old King Charles Cavalier bitch Milly might have syringomyelia
I have never heard of this before. Anyone heard of this?

Hi, I've read up on it. Drug therapies including ga ape tin are often successful and there is a surgery. I hate the waiting game but prob need more info from vet. Give her a massive love festival from me and get Alan to give you a massive hug. Speak tomorrow. Hopefully some people will come along that have kcs and no more. Xx

I have had 3 dogs with Syringomyelia & it can be asymptomatic(no clinical symptoms)for many years before the dog shows any outward signs. The only way to diagnose SM is by MRI scan.
