Picking bottles up.

While its too warm to go for an afternoon walk I've been trying to teach Taffy to pick plastic bottles up & put them in a carrier bag. I've made a contraption to peg the bag onto to keep it open to make it easier.
I've got him picking up to six bottles up (now saying "bottle")& click & treat.
I want him to be able to do this in the park with the bottles which are lying around.
Now - do I take my own bottles out at first & scatter them around while I'm sat on a bench or pick some random bottles up first & use those & then go onto walking round picking them up. Or any other ideas?

My family's colliexGSDxwhippety boy used to do this, we just used the bottles lying around the park. He had a game of fetch with them and then had to put them in the bin...which he never wanted to do!

Lol. I'm not very good at it though. Taff is cleverer than I am.

Samson trained himself with rubbish in the park Not binning it though, he seeks it out and pee's on it
He does a funny thing at the stream though, he picks big stones out of the stream and puts them on the bank! Crazy fool
I think I would be inclined to take a few bottles of my own, be sods law that there are none about when you need them.

I took my contraption & carrier bag tonight along with 3 of my own bottles. Sat on a bench & threw the bottles about. Told Taffy "Bottle" & he picked them up. I only did it one at a time before C&T. After a few times of that I made him pick up all 3 & then C&T. I tried with a couple of rubbish bottles then & he picked 3 up before getting fed up & finding something more interesting to do
At least this weather there are plenty of bottles lying around
We met a friend on the way back & I got him to do it again - showing off He did it once but got too excited started messing about. Always happens when you want to brag about them
It will probably be easier to do it in a morning when the park is emptier though. We'll get there

Really clever. VERY impressed, mine would play with the bottles, have a chew at them, and then abandon them
