If it's to carry I use a simple small human water bottle and small plastic tray I can get both in my bag and works well. In the car I have a bigger bottle of water for washing off feet etc but can be used to drink in emergencies.

I have to carry water at all times in the heat here. Just use the standard bottles for humans. I don't carry a drinking container. I pour it into my hand for her and she laps it up as I'm pouring it. Sometimes I pour it over her head! Cool her silly little brain down!

We got one of them tray bottles for the car, we throw-ed it away, it leaked all over the car, now use a ordinary bottle and a dish.

We just use a human sports bottle, holds a litre and the dogs drink it straight out of the bottle.

I also use a h2o4k9 and although it was expensive I find it beats all other "dog" water bottles.
It was the best money I've spent - I only have a little dog so got the little bottle and it fits in my bum bag perfectly.
Well recommended....
