What happens when you let Scooby choose the route to walk...

I took the boys out for another wander today. Exploring a place we walk often but with a twist; I let scooby choose the paths we took. Obviously within reason, towards the end he did have to be urged in the direction of the car park otherwise he'd have had us traipsing round for hours!

Following the leader -

Malcolm really wanted to go the other side of the fence -

Nothing stops my boys going off road -

Onwards and upwards (I think Scooby regretted this part of the route ) -

Malcolm wearing a Bandit hat -

Off down another random track -

Scooby couldn't decide which side of the tree to walk on -

The path got a little crowded -

No idea where he was taking us here -

Ah civilisation -

Interesting smells (I can get away with using a flexi and having Scooby off muzzle here as we can easily avoid people, I do however carry a short lead and his muzzle should it prove to be busy) -

Happy Bandit -

Token group shot. I know it's cheating to do it with them in the back of the car! -

And after all those photo's I'm sure you really just want to do this -

Thank you for looking!

Brilliant - what a wonderful walk chosen by Sccoby although a few of the paths looked a trifle narrow Loved the Bandit 'hat' photo
Thanks for sharing these terrific photos with us.

Lovely, I like to take mine to local woodland it makes me feel very close to nature, and there is lots to sniff for the dogs too.

There are times that I'm very thankful for their coloured harnesses! I use them more to spot the dogs than actually as a piece of walking equipment

I'm glad you like them Malka, we were out for a couple of hours and it took me a while to cut the number of photo's down! x

Thank you. There are gravel footpaths most of the way round and a Tarmac track that runs through it (that's the one in the last few shots). The Tarmac route is frequented by families walking the dog with the kids on scooters and things so we tend to avoid it as I'd have to put the boys on lead in case Malcolm decided a scooter looked tasty! Scooby seemed dead set on choosing the smallest, windiest (sp?), hilliest routes he could

It's one of those places with such variety that they can't help but enjoy themselves. I agree that Malcolm is gorgeous, though I might be a bit biased

Thank you, I love the woods because they provide shelter and I can easily avoid people so Scooby gets a stress free walk There is always lots to look at in woodland as well.
