Meet Dexter Puppy

The newest addition to my pack

This is his Mummy... I was on a waiting list to adopt this beautiful girl from her rescue, she had gone in to a foster home and was taken to be speyed when the vet noticed she had a (very well hidden) pregnancy! It was too far along to abort, so she was allowed to have the puppies:


Foster Mum after going through everything with her, couldn't bear to part with Mum Angel.. dod I want a puppy?... well... no... but then... I saw this:


I stayed strong... maybe... The littler were all plack and white... all looked like collies... But then oddly as they got bigger all the puppies got blue eyes... all but one...


I caved Went to see the litter and chose that one I have never seen a bigger fatter puppy! and he's growing like a weed!


Some people say he looks like a husky mix... But I still see the border collie.. His coat is mottled grey, white and black... I'm thinking merle border collie may have been dad? What do you think?


He's definitely a cuddle puppy

He's beautiful, whatever he is! The collie influence is fading as he's growing but that doesn't mean there isn't some there. It will be interesting to see him all grown up!

What do I think? I think he is absolutely scrummy!

He's lovely and in a way you are still 'rescuing' a dog so well done to you. Will the other puppies also have good homes?

Yes all the puppies have been adopted now. There was only one girl in the litter and she was the last to go, the only one that didn't have the fluffy coat, she looks like a proper little border collie

Dexter part of the pack... and biggest puppy ever! He was born on the 22nd December!

Dexter is adorable! It is great news that all of the other puppies and mum have new homes.

He is adorable
