So nice to see how a dog and a toddler can interact with each other and just shows how all these horror stories in the gutter press are down to the horrible ignorant dog owners.

Wonderful pictures Phil - James is a gorgeous baby and I am sure that Skye, who obviously adores him, is pleased that he is so quiet! xx

Hi You are so right, and a lot of the children that have been bit, have shown fear to dogs especially children from other cultures who are taught to fear by there parents.I just wish that there would be something or someone to allay their fears. Many years ago I was walking my Afghan, down a bike path quite narrow,at the other end was a woman not english with 2 kids, they all started screaming,by this time my Afghan was spooked, tried to back out but he was thrashing about and couldnt get control,I noticed that one of the houses had a gate, tried it couldnt get through by tis time the woman and children were huddled on the ground still screaming. Finally by climbing up and virtually hanging upside down, crystal was tied to the gate,so though I had managed to unbolt thegate had to then get down, leave crystal as she was, gingerley opening the gate shouting hello the coast seemed clear,so sat on a plastic chair until I was sure the coast was clear,it seemed hours,we were both shaking, but finally left that garden and went home.crystalgate
