Can dogs eat smoked yellow fish?

I've ran out of dog food and I don't feel like walking shop in this weather. I'm all out of tuna and chicken is frozen. So the only thing I can think to make is smoked haddock. Would that be okay on her stomach? Thanks x

Check for bones, the only reason it's yellow is because of food colouring, but because it's smoked/cooked, I'd check for bones.

Why can you not give her frozen [raw] chicken?

Skin is fine, but I'd get prepared for the bad weather, it's about to get worse from the looks of it

SMoked Haddock is fine, if it is smoked over wood it becomes a pale yellow but the stuff you find in supermarkets is dyed yellow as it is "smoked" using commercial machinery.

I've wanted to feed raw for a while I'm just apprehensive about it. I didn't know you could feed from frozen either. Shame because I've got a pack of mince she could of had too.

Hi,

Just a word of caution that some smoked fish. An contain a lot of salt. Fine for the occasional use I would think but not something I would use regularly
