Am I a lazy cow or do you do this too????

WHEN THE DOGS HAVE CHEWED STUFF UP ROUND THE GARDEN.....sorry for caps???

Ie... Foam footballs, cardboard, bits of plastic from kids toys , paper and crisp packets, anything really thats small.

Instead of picking it all up by hand, I get the lawnmower out and it kind of hoovers it all up Simples

I'm much lazier than you. I feel tired just thinking about mowing grass!

However, when Bella has managed to decorate the verandah with bits of chewed up odds and ends - I bring Henry out to play - that hoovers them up for real!

Now I am feeling awful I don't let mine chew things up like that I always worry they will choke so they miss out on the fun. Still it does mean I don't have to worry about clearing up...

Well then Julie - I vote you lazier than either of us two! Must say - I would never think of anyone who mowed lawns as a lazy person!

As for chewing up harmless stuff - I hate housework but my dog has SO much fun 'killing' a rough washing up sponge, or a kitchen roll inner - or the task of removing a plastic label from a plastic water bottle (not to mention DE-stuffing a soft toy!). It outweighs the pain of having to get the vac out occasionally! (I only actually clean it up if it hurts if I tread on it!)

most of the stuff they chew up is pinched from my recycle bin by sasha but they have endless fun chasing eachother over a crisp pack or a cardboard cereal box

Zoey - Bell the min pin is a notorious thief. However, I do hang my bags up so she cannot ferret in them.

But, this past month, I've had a succession of visitors, all overlapping, up to number 5 at the moment, and she is having a WHALE of a time as they don't hang theirs up! Silly boogers put them down on the floor! She's in Bella heaven.

Oh - and most of them have SOCKS - I don't possess any so hadn't realised she had a worn sock obsession until they arrived and started leaving socks around on the floor in their rooms! (Most of them end up under my bed now - Bella's safe secret hiding place!)

You’re a lazy cow and you should get on your hands and knees and clear the mess up!

I usually just get the brush and shovel to clear the mess, I'm not fortunate enough to have a garden, I've got a yard.

I've had all sorts of gardens but, being common as muck, I've always called them 'backyards' lol!

I have a Gardner to mow my lawns, he would not be to pleased to have to work his mower over lots of rubbish.

Any rubbish left on the lawn is picked up as and when it is left.
