Preventing cats from catching birds

Does anyone have any advice on this?

currently tried bells on collar and also bleepy "liberator" collar nethier of which has been successful, now considering trying a "Cat-Bib" ??

I kept the cat indoors yesterday and she is not happy! I want to let her out but at the moment she is killing a bird almost every day

Any help appreciated!!!!!

When does she catch the birds? If you don't already, keep her in at night as cats do most of their hunting at dawn and dusk. Won't stop her entirely but it might cut the numbers down.

My cat used to catch goldfish but I think that his source dried up or the owners covered the pond with a net as I haven't seen any more for a couple of years.

I actually rescued one of the goldfish and gave it to a friend and it spawned many many offspring for her ( She has about 30 in her small pond right now ! )

This cat plays in the dog's water bowl so he obviously loves water - wierd !
