Trixie bike attachment

are these as good or the same as the springer, my dogs run okay by my side but i am getting more concerned about idiot owners along the canal so i would like to keep them attached to my bike as best i can being handsfree.
Also has anyone got a rough guess at the optimum speed for a dog when running alongside a bike or is it a case of individual dogs needing differing speeds, the dogs are taken cycling on an individual basis.
Cheers plus any other attachment options anyone know of.

I have this one...

And find it very good, the ones by trixie that are a straight bar out dont have very good reviews. This one comes on and off the bike easily, but the part that attaches it needs to be super tight! My dog likes to actually pull in her harness and as long as she goes forward she pulls me along! and the few times she has tried to go to the side I barely feel it on the bike due to the spring. I think how fast you go comes down to each dog, I dont go very far and make sure she knows to commands to slow and which direction I am turning, and of course stop lol Biking can be a lot of fun with your dog but you need to make sure you dont push them too much and have a warm up and cool down time. Oh and they need to have a harness on, not pulling on their collar! Good luck!

I use the walkydog attachment, wouldnt personally use any other, too much "give" if the dog takes fancy.

I use the Trixie deluxe with my Malamute and it works great. It absorbs the pull even if she spots a bird or cat.

That one looks pretty good. Let us know what you decide, and how you get on.
