I've lost my beautiful boy
on friday the 25th of may, at 9pm. my beautiful Jeager was put to sleep. he suffered a gastric torsion. it was horrible to see, and experience. he was my best friend, the best dog i have ever met, never mind owned. i loved his colour, his fur, his face, his eyes, ears, nose,... just everything about him! he taught me so much about dogs, people and life. he made me proud, soooo proud. he was a star and a legend, around here. he taught all of the puppies how to behave properly. if other dogs seemed in danger, he would protect them. he would protect older, or poorly dogs, from the roughfians. he was just the most perfect thing i ever met. at 10 years old, we found Dogsey. it helped me to show him off to so many people, and your wonderful comments made me even more proud of him, if that could have been possible! after i had posted pictures of him, on Dogsey, i would be so excited to see your lovely, lovely comments. he was 10 years and 9 mths old, when he died.
when i can stop crying, i will give more detail, and try to help other dogs and owners become more aware of this terrible condition. thank you all so so much for making us so welcome!
can i just share with you, these pictures, taken last week. showing him with his favourite treat bottle...which he would bring to me, so i would put some of his kibble in, then he would trott to the living room, turn the bottle upside down, and empty on to the floor!!!

i loved him so very very much.
