6 months lab puppy shaking head

Oscar has been shaking his head quiet a bit. Went to see vet yesterday for his 6months weigh in for his worming tabs and she had a look in his ears and said all clean and clear, but still shaking his head today. Can anybody give me any advice what to buy over the counter, and what could be causing it. Thanks

I was told it was OK to use Anthisan on my dog - and she used to have to have antihistamine jabs if she got bitten by a flea due to contact dermatitis flea allergy wotsit.

Teething can also cause dogs to shake their heads due to irritation.

You have ear, nose and throat human specialists as these are interconnected areas.

At six months your dog will be teething. which isn't to say there can't be another cause.

Shamus kept shaking his head. After 2 vet visits and lots of ear drops I tried a different vet who peered down his ear`ole and found... a hair growing on his ear drum.
It`s always worth investigating....

Thank-you for all your replies. He is not doing it all the time only when walking him. Had to get a non pull harness was great on it until the other day a very noisy lorry went by he was so frightened. Since then he has been head shaking when on the harness. Do you think it could be stress.
Thanks Tass did not no teething caused that but makes common sense
