Axa Insurance - the upside!

I phoned Axa today to cancel Milo's insurance and was told that I owed them £14.64 because the February payment was missed - this was because when my old girlie's insurance was cancelled in January, they cancelled Milo's by mistake and missed February when they reinstated it! As Milo had an ongoing claim, they insisted I had to pay the outstanding amount!

I said that, as it was their mistake and in view of the circumstances, on humanitarian grounds they should write off such a small amount. To my surprise, they rang back and apologised for asking for it and said they would write it off!

As they say, if you don't ask, you don't get!
