It always amazes me over in the US how little protective gear the bikers wear though! In the UK it's full leathers, boots, gloves and helmet no matter what!

I'm guilty of this as well. I've got a couple dogs that love to ride whether it be car, truck, atv, motorcycle. Although I don't take them onto very many paved roads when riding it's typically dirt roads but they love it too much.

I dont care if the dog likes it , theres plenty of things a dog likes that would be harmful to them or kill them
Thats why its up to us as owners to ensure our dogs safety ... and im pretty certain asking a dog to balance on a fast moving vehicle is just plain irresponsible & a recipe for disaster
