Mr Bojangles, the five-month-old crossbreed who was given puppy pyjamas to help him recover from a painful skin condition, has made a strong recovery after wearing pyjamas for six months. Mr Bojangles suffered from demodectic mange and his condition was so bad, he was at serious risk of being put to sleep before animal charity Impawtant Pups Rescue Centre rescued him from a Cambridgeshire animal pound.

Gone are the open sores and mites of six months ago. The pyjamas helped his wounds heal while he was being treated and today, there is very little sign of the skin condition left - Mr Bojangles is happy and healthy and ready to find a new forever home.
Emma Nicholson, founder of Impawtant Pups Rescue Centre in Burton, Staffordshire, said: “I forget what he used to look like because I see him every day but there is a huge difference compared to how bad his skin used to be.”
Ms Nicholson said she wants Mr Bojangles' new home to be “perfect”. Describing him as affectionate and friendly, she added: “He was so traumatised when we rescued him so he needs to be in a home where someone can be with him for most of the day or where there is another dog.
“He would be fine with children over 10 years old who will give him lots of play time and cuddles as he is so loving, but he is bouncy. He is a fantastic all-round animal.”
The charity is holding a fund-raising day at Purple Mountain Hicks Lodge in Moira on April 6. All money raised will go towards a Ł5000 vet bill for parvovirus puppies the centre saved earlier this year.
