Itchy ear

Rio has an itchy ear today. I know why she has it - she pinched a dog biscuit that fell out of Dan's mouth on this morning's walk after my Mum had recalled him. She always reacts to cereals with itchy inflamed ears.

I've cleaned it with vinegar in water and she's wearing a buster collar. We usually use Surolan for this which works great, but I've looked at the leaflet and it's not been approved for use in pregnant bitches, which she may be.

Obviously if it's still itchy in the morning I'll ring the vet and ask him what she can have - does anyone else know of anything natural to help with itchy ears?

I'm not sure if Thornit is ok to give to pregnant bitches? There should be information on the internet about it.

I use Thornit on Megans ears & works straight away. Bought it for roughly £10 from amazon. Works a treat!
