Welcome to the forum.

I suppose tea won't hurt them, but I don't see the point as they don't gain anything from it?

Thanks . He doesn't seem to drink much water but loves drinking tea. I thought maybe decaf tea and a tiny bit of milk would be ok?

Personally I don't think it is practical having a dog who barely drinks water but loves tea. Not ideal if you need to use kennels/pet sitters, have to travel, etc.

I wouldn't bother.

a small amount as a treat wont hurt him

friend of my mothers when she was young had a doberman who would sit politely at the table and wait very nicely for a tiney drop of tea o.0

water should all ways be available, the dog will drink when its thirsty though if your worried id contact your vet and talk to them about them it.

My dogs have always loved tea. I had an elderly foster who used to bark for her tea and biscuits at 8pm every night. (It took us ages to work out what was wrong).
I don`t see why not as long as it doesn`t have sugar in it.

I see no harm in a little bit of it, but I don't think that replacing water with it is wise.
