Oh dear, look what I am getting ;0)

I've learnt in the last year more than ever, that life is a very strange thing. I've learnt to grab the moment, follow your heart and if it's possible and you want something, just do it.

So, a couple of months ago a little black and white girl caught my eye as she was new into South East Dog Rescue (the best rescue in the world!) Utterly adorable, and her markings made me think of the gorgeous Bruno Last week a friend messaged me and said that she had been interested in this girl but sadly her husband said no due to the dogs age and lack of history. Then, a couple of nights ago, her photo came through the news feed. I fall for dogs every day. So many needing homes but something about this girl has got right under my skin.

So, as some of you already know, I was 'encouraged' to look into adopting her A tiny snowball soon became a huge one and on Saturday, Gerri and I are driving to Essex to pick this little one up.

Something in this girl makes me think of my sister. I can't fully explain it but although Sarah wasn't a dog lover, she would have liked many things about her.

Kymm and Jodie (fosterer) have told me this girl is just perfect. They have no idea why she hasn't been snapped up but can only think her age, approx 7, stands against her. She is kid, dog, cat, people friendly. Can be left and is just everyone's friend. She is an ex poundie, found as a stray but unclaimed.

So, here she is. Introducing Saskia

Oh she is so beautiful - she has that "please cuddle me" look.

Lots of photos will be required after you get her home! xx
