Morning all,

Friday – how lush!

I’ve not been very good this past week. I’m supposed to follow a healthy eating plan and have been doing so for almost three years, but this last week has bit a tad *cough* disappointing.

I think the bitterly cold weather isn’t helping, and I seem to have had nothing but hungry days all week.

I need to refocus, so will make a bit more of an effort........ I have no wish to return to being the huge fat bird that I used to be.... Three words – Get A Grip

Snow overnight here. I've got to take the car into the garage to have the front suspension struts replaced but would rather just stay in the warm

More of the damned white stuff down . On top of what was left from last time, it's going to be treacherous outside today. Small field walk on the cards me thinks.

Had a lovely beach walk yesterday and had the place all to ourselves. Rosie, who loves to walk and play on the sand, went out of her way to find the snow left on the beach to have a play in. Seems I have a snow addict on my hands . It was a lovely walk, but bitterly cold. Lovely to come home to a nice warm house and hot cup of coffee though.

I'm on an eating binge at the moment too. I just seem permanently hungry for some reason. I've put on almost a stone this winter so it really is time to stop. I lost three and a half to four stone three years ago so starting to watch it creep back up again isn't fun (apart from clothes starting not to fit). Ah well, back to the healthy eating and more of an effort - boring!!!!

Snow and fat - Mmmm! how much better can this winter get???

I am off to the hospital for an 8am appointment to have my gall bladder scanned and then at 11.45 I am at the dentist to have the nerve taken out of my front broken tooth, root canal filling and then got ready for a crown. Lets hope it works as I don't want to lose it.
I will certainly be glad when this afternoon comes as I am a nervous wreck at the dentist.
No more snow thank goodness although there is still piles of it left from before.

I think we're all stocking up on our fat reserves Vicki, maybe it's the animal instinct going way back, maybe the weather's going to get worse, but I reckon if you put that heating on more often it would strick your body into thinking it's summer!!

Good luck at the torture chamber Bev, but it's got to be done hasn't it.

We've got quite a nice covering out there but it's melting already. I can't venture up the top coz my little Astra will probably give up half way up the climb and reversing all the way back down a single track would not be good with all the 4x4's coming up the right way, so I'll opt for walking across the gallops this morning, as the racehorses won't be out in this and there's no ice underneath either, like I've had up the top.

Been busy making appointments for some viewings tomorrow, and then we go ontoGoogle street view and then change our minds, so today I'll be busy cancelling them lol! We have found another 2 that we really, really like though, so I'll try and get a viewing with those tomorrow if I'm lucky. Our problem is the dogs being left for too long, coz it's 3 hours travelling there and back, so doesn't leave us much time to actually look at these properties inbetween, so just two at a time methinks.
