Daft dogs will pick fruit before it is ripe anybody would think they were hungry

Great pictures! What was in the tree? Was it really fruit? Potter did that once and came out with a baby bird that was falling from its nest. It was unharmed, and we put it back.

Yes, Miss Potter, it is an Alder and it has fruits like large cherrys that, when ripe, are very sweet but it looks as if those that are hanging lower than 6 feet are never going to get ripe. Interesting thing was the older dogs who soon realised if they waited and watched he would knock some down and save them the effort of jumping.

He is jumping Jeanette, he either leaps and grabs a fruit with his teeth or hooks his front feet on a branch at the top of the jump and sort off fishes for the fruit as he slides off.

Edit to say he is jumping off his back legs, he stands on his back legs and lines up a fruit and then jumps for it he is not running and jumping, no wonder I lost the pork the other day it did not stand a chance.
