Two dogs...Seperate Insurance?

If you have more than one dog I wondered if it is better to keep their Insurance seperate (i;e Policies with different companies) I know that you are sometimes offered a multi-dog discount but in the long run surely the more dogs you have with the same company, the more claims from you as an individual and ultimately higher premiums?

Some companies offer multi car discount but you have a seperate policy for each car they're not put on the same policy.
Also there's no such thing as a no claim discount for pet insurance claiming doesn't affect individual premiums.

Pet insurance isn't quite like car insurance - most insurance companies work out their premiums by claims overal (nationwide) rather than by your claim history.

I know it isn't like car insurance i just quoted that because she mentioned multi pet.
