Urgent, Dougal is blocked up (Dogsey vibes needed)

Dougal has spent the past hour walking round the garden trying to poo to the point of blood coming out his bum.

Is this just a blockage? He's not been getting a lot of bones but has had one or two since Xmas, could this have blocked him up?

I'm trying to get a hold of a vets at the moment.

He could have a blockage or there may be a sharp bone that wants to come out but is giving him some pain.

Can you shove a gloved, vaselined finger up there which can often get them started

I know it's probably going to be an easy thing for the vet, but Dogsey vibes for Dougal would be welcome.

He has to go in today, get sedated and get his bowel evacuated

Sending healing vibes for Dougal and (((hugs))) to you too.
My Doug went through this 2 weeks ago......he's fine now, recovered quickly once the problem was sorted.

Thanks guys, I'm starting to wonder tbh, he went out earlier after the vet called but I couldn't watch him cause the phone rang. He's a lot brighter and wanted to play just now so thinking perhaps he's passed that horrible thing.

Still taking him to the vets, not taking the chance it's still there.
