Feeding vegetables

after reading "give your dog a bone" by Ian Billinghurst i have decided I'm going to feed veg to the dogs.

I'm going to put a mixture of raw veg through the food processor I've been given i know what veg I'm going to use, but my question is this:

can i freeze the vegetable mix once ive done it?

the book says do not store it, it must be fed straight away.

i thought about doing a big mix, then putting it into ice cube trays, and then can just get out 2 cubes or whatever and defrosting them as and when needed.

can i do that?

I dice and lightly steam vegetables, then open freeze and pack in bags once frozen. That way I can take whatever I want to defrost and give to Pereg, and as we both eat the same food, I can also add whatever I want to any stews/casseroles/soups for myself.

The only raw vegetables she has, and they are just treats as far as she is concerned, are the ends of cucumbers, scrubbed carrot peelings [she prefers steamed carrots], and some sliced kohlrabi. Oh yes, she is also partial to sweet red peppers.

Because she mostly has lightly steamed [barely blanched] vegetables, Pereg seems to be able to digest them with no problem at all, and they are ideal for bulking up her meals on the strict weight-loss diet she is on.

Luckily Pereg takes after me in that she just lurves vegetables!

Loui is not keen on fruit or veg and I don't bother adding it.

A banana, I'm led to believe is a nice treat to a lot of dogs, not Loui However, recently I left a banana too long and it was black and he showed quite an interest, so I mashed it up in his mince and he ate the lot. Now wondering if he/they prefer the sweet, extra ripe bananas?

Veg he would only eat with gravy

EDIT; that is mashed into meat gravy...so I'm not going there
