I saw my first English Bull Mastiff tonight
What a stocky dog - just like a miniature Heifer or at least the same proportions !Such a soft nature too ! ( The owners said that my two would scare him ).............they didn't

this is 2 mastiffs (taken from wikipedia)
my bullmastiff book says bullmastiff are a cross of these mastiffs with an old english bulldog. which is why they look so similar (correct me if im wrong)

Apart from that, they are very similar!
Will dig out an old pic of my (now deceased) Bullmastiff next to a Mastiff.
